This includes:
- Complying with all relevant legislation such as the Weeds, Pesticides, Environmental Protection Acts.
- Using integrated pest management, plant selection and soil management to reduce the use of pesticides and herbicides
- Not using bush rock, sand or other natural materials unless those materials are recycled
- Protecting sensitive bush environments and animal habitats
- Disposing of lawn clippings, prunings, soil and other material responsibily
- Promoting environmentally low impact garden practices to the community, clients and colleagues
- Reducing, reusing and recycling materials wherever possible.
