About me

I started gardening at around five years of age and terrified my mother when I could finally lift a mattock over my head! The cutting blade had a habit of slipping down the handle and crushing hands. Starting off with vegetable gardens, I was competing with two brothers for space to create the best garden.

Basically I've just kept doing what I did as a child, with various breaks over the years. My business was established in 2009. It's just me as sole trader and a few other gardeners that I can call on if required for larger jobs.

The best part of being a gardener is seeing a happy client once the work is completed. At times the job is small, a bit of weeding or more involved like cutting out a ugly dying mango tree. I've never been afraid of hard work or using a chainsaw when required! 

My qualifications include
  • Diploma Landscape Design, Ryde TAFE (partially completed due to move to central coast)
  • Diploma Horticulture with Distinction, Ryde TAFE 2012
  • Certificate 3 Land Management and Conservation, Ryde TAFE 2013
  • Certificate 2 & 3 Horticulture (Parks and Gardens), Ryde TAFE 2010
